You are very correct. Much like when the leftist State Bar of Arizona came after you, the leftist controlled State Bar of Texas came after their conservative President trying to destroy him both professionally and personally. Luckily he stood firm, but the State Bar of Texas swung even more heavily left focusing on DEI and forcing every lawyer in Texas to take CRT classes. Luckily our State Bar President stood firm and blocked this. Yet he could not block the forming of a State Bar DEI committee. This is the same State Bar who is trying to disbar the Texas Attorney General and his first assistant for filling a suit in the US Supreme Court challenging Biden's Election. The same State Bar who is trying to disbar Sidney Powell for filing a suit regarding the Presidential election in 2020. The State Bars of many states have become a political tool of the crazy left and much like the State Bar of Texas, it has been weaponized.

Brilliant article. It was really eye opening to hear from an insider working at the coalface against the left’s totalitarian state apparatus. Talk is cheap and for most conservatives nowadays, freedom of thought and speech means risking your entire livelihood. It is a civilisation wide failure to stand up for traditional values over decades. We are now on the precise of real tyranny and the complete dismantling of our fundamental rights. It is reassuring to know that there are people like yourself who are fighting the good fight and still have hope.
Most kind, James, thanks. I regret much of what I do is dispelling the false hopes peddled by folks who don't have our long-term interests in mind. But there is yet hope. Appreciate the feedback!
I’m with you. I’m incredibly frustrated with most of the Con movement. So much talk but no coherent action. With respect, I think what we need is some ‘political organizing’. The left is coherent and focuses on the key levers of institutional power. The only example I see of taking back an institution is Chris Rufo in Florida. What’s is 100x right about is this. A lot of right wing talkers are getting very rich. And they are careful and focus on monetization. It confuses the base cuz we think they are what will take us forward. But they don’t ever fight anything real ever. Rush Limbaugh modeled this for them and it’s a shame. While I liked Rush in the beginning, frankly, I saw through all this 30 years ago...It’s far too late to win. This is what losing feels like.
I'm as tough as they come on RINOs and Con Inc. because I've seen both GOP and private conservative leaders collaborate and fritter away our heritage for decades, and now as they say we're up against it. My article going out today will I hope give some hope and vision to balance my realism and hard line on those who have milked and betrayed us for so long. Appreciate the feedback, Glenn!
Nearly 250 years ago brave men looked down the muzzle of tyranny and declared their independence. Imagine we might find just one or two men of power and means in this country today. I can't imagine it.
I agree that vindictive lawsuits with retribution as their premise are foolish.
But I would hope that intelligent and proactive minds will gather together in the coming few years to develop better strategies than the reforming of the legal education system. We will all be dead or in gulags before that gets any traction.
Fair enough but I think much can be accomplished in short run if GOP were to make exposure of leftist nonsense in law schools etc. and penalizing it an immediate high priority for policymakers. Some would be scared straight. And same for State Bars--those can be dealt with swiftly in no small part by publicizing their biases, which GOP has never done systematically. Appreciate the feedback!
I've thought about your comment more, John, and I do want to share some more positive vision for how we can climb out of this valley and will try to tackle that in the next week. We're in a very tough spot because we've been sold out by RINOs et al. But we need to find a way forward and I'll offer some more thoughts soon. Just wanted you to know I thought more about your and other feedback (I do value and ponder it) and will try to address soon. Thanks again, Andrew

Indeed, I empathize with AG Paxton and follow his travails now that I live here in Texas.

Absolutely, we found such courage in this land before--the heirs of that great heritage need to find it again today!
Pretty depressing summation counselor.
